I have been reading about his views, and
his discussions on sex left my jaw on the ground. His proselytizing that sex between a husband and wife should not involve egalitarian pleasure, but should be an act of domination, conquering of and planting the seed into a woman stunned me.To him a sexual act of mutual pleasuring is too egalitarian requiring empathy, which he has labeled as sin.
And yes even though he denies it, this is a view that sets the stage for church sanctioned abuse of women. Yet, he in his egocentric focus has revealed something more personal, what his habits are during the act of procreation with his wife. What a state he must have to get himself into to perform the act.
I am not getting into the grittier details, but goodness that is a grusone imagining, the huffing and the puffing , sterile of the joy of giving another pleasure to another. What a very disturbing and ecgocentric view of an act that could be a beautiful soul filling event, but not in the world envisioned by Doug Wilson.
